While experimenting with the idea of a rebrand to attract a wider audience, Blossom Brothers hired me to collaborate on some total-overhaul packaging and identity concepts. As a wine seltzer drink trying to buck the existing stereotypes of the “wine spritzer,” Blossom Brothers wanted to present a product that was unpretentious and versatile without dumbing down the ethereal and time-honored qualities of the wine itself. We tried out a vast number of ideas using a wide range of styles and concepts, my favorites of which are presented here. Unfortunately none of the ideas wound up being used, but the collaborative process was a heck of a lot of fun.
