This project has been an utter delight to work on from the very start. Bridgetown Puzzles is a Portland-local company whose mission is to give back to artists. For every puzzle sold using an artist’s artwork, 10% goes back to the artist. Anna of Bridgetown originally hired me to do the company’s branding and packaging (branding post coming soon!), and went on to invite me to be in the first batch of puzzle offerings along with two other artists. I chose to do this original art, called “Tidepool,” based on the Oregon Coast.
I’ve absolutely loved watching the whole thing come together, and seeing my artwork transformed into puzzle form and contained in a beautiful box that I’ve fully branded and designed has been a real “I can’t believe I get paid to do this” moment.
